Two members of the band Amantha Mill came to the Front Porch in Woodlawn to play this evening. They were Bill Helms, acoustic guitar picker and singer, and Rebecca (Becca) Eggers-Gryder who played bass and sang. Scott Freeman played mandolin with them mostly, sometimes fiddle. They played about every style of music but rap and reggae. Bill Helms' guitar work is masterful He's an excellent guitar picker. Becca sings a good country song. She does Patsy Cline and Hank Williams songs. She has written several of the songs she sings, good lyrics. They were lively, kept the feet tapping. Happy audience of 20 tonight.
